A lesson-vocabulary diary for language teachers, for macOS.

Classroom Diaries turns a recorded lesson into a dated vocabulary entry in that class's own Google Doc:

• Record or import a lesson — in person, or an online call.
• Transcribe on-device using Apple's speech recognition. Audio never leaves your Mac.
• Extract what you actually taught — the transcript is analyzed (via the Anthropic API, with your own key) to pull out the vocabulary, corrections, pronunciation points, and grammar you deliberately covered, ignoring words merely used in passing.
• Review, edit, and publish — after your review, the app adds one dated, formatted entry to the class's Google Doc, in date order. It keeps its own lesson history on your Mac as well.

How it uses your Google account

You connect your own Google account, and the app's only use of it is writing the lesson entries you explicitly publish into documents you choose (plus reading the position of existing date headings in the document body so an entry lands in the right place and duplicates are detected). It stores your Google tokens only in the macOS Keychain, sends no Google data to the developer or anyone else, and never edits your documents beyond the single entry you publish or replace.
